What Are All of the Fees on this Card Marketplace?

Listing cards for sale on our website is free. Fees are only applied at a purchase/sale or verification level. The following transaction fees are applied on our platform:

• A 4% commission fee on the value of the items in the basket at the time of checkout is applied to sellers on the Very Friendly Sharks platform. This will be the only commission that Very Friendly Sharks take; terms and conditions apply. Please keep in mind that the minimum amount we will always charge an order is £0.01. 
  
  This fee is non-refundable.

The following fees are all applied by our P.S.P. (Payment System Provider) Mangopay. Very Friendly Sharks has no control over these fees:
 

• At pay-in, a £0.20 charge plus the following fees (fees are subject to change and can be found on the MANGOPAY website):
  • Mastercard and Vista: 1.4% 
  • American Express (AMEX): 2.95%
     
• Or, for alternative payment methods:
  • PayPal: 0.20% + PayPal Fees
  • Bank wire/transfer: 0.5%
  • Direct Debit: £0.60 (If > £10,000, an extra 0.15% fee is applied)
    
    The fee is applied to the money that the buyer uses to purchase Very Friendly Sharks credit and is applied by MANGOPAY, our payment service provider.
    
    Very Friendly Sharks does not control this fee. This fee is only applied when a buyer puts money into our online system, and this fee doesn’t apply to money already in your Very Friendly Sharks credit. This means that when you’ve got credit on the website, until you add more credit, you won’t be charged by MANGOPAY until you purchase something over your current website credit.
     
• A £0.20 fee is applied to each bank account payout to our sellers by MANGOPAY. VFS does not control this, and it’s necessary to move money online on our platform.
  
  Therefore, we advise our sellers to move money to their bank accounts at longer intervals.
   
• A £1.1 KYC (Know Your Customer) / £5.1 KYB (Know Your Business) checking fee is applied at the point verifying yourself as a seller on this platform. 
  
  Very Friendly Sharks does not control this fee either, but we will refund you this fee from our commissions of sales of your items until you’ve been fully refunded the £1.10 / £5.10. 
  
  This check is done to ensure the persons registering to sell products on our platform are legally allowed to do so and to allow for accountability to every single seller on our website. We take the security of all of our users seriously, and should any individuals seek to utilise the platform maliciously, this will allow us to pursue them legally to the full extent permitted by Scottish law.
  
  We do not charge you to sell on this website, but our PSP provider will charge to verify that all sellers are legally KYCed. WE WILL 100% REIMBURSE THIS FEE INTO YOUR VERY FRIENDLY SHARKS CREDIT. This fee, at this point, will also protect our other users and the community at large.
